(Hours 125 & 126)
It's just less than a week before all my results are published for what I've been striving for in the past 3 years, and most importantly, this last year. My provisional degree class will be released early next week along with a P or an F for the driving test.
I looked in amazement when I saw the beautiful blue BSM car today and I got told that this is what I will be using for my test. Hopefully, it will bring me better luck, and already, it has been off to a good start with a PASS this morning. The test was taken in Chester and was also a fourth time pass for the learner. The thing I laugh at most was the examiner that took him, and I hear for all 4 times was unfortunately - Deadly Mr. Dodd, the miserable man that had taken me for my second attempt.
I'm happy to be able to use the new car due to obvious superstitious reasons, and therefore thinking myself lucky to have the chance to practice in it before the actual test date. My instructor asked me to move off when I was ready, which left me replying "I'm never ready" in amusement. My reaction triggered a famous poem to him, which he kindly reeled off to me!
Here I paste the funny poem by Spike Milligan, and laugh so much when I read that Freddy's lifestyle is just like mine!
Soldier Freddy
was never ready,
But! Soldier Neddy,
unlike Freddy
Was always ready
and steady,
That's why,
When Soldier Neddy
Is-outside-Buckingham-Palace-on-guard-in-the-pouring-wind-and-rain-being-steady-and-ready,
Freddy
is home in beddy.
